Confidence Workshops

Confidence-building experiences powered by the performing arts.

For all students — not just performers.

Confidence and self-worth affect how students learn, connect, participate and contribute to school life.

RISE Confidence Workshops use the power of the performing arts to build confidence, self-worth and connection in all students — not just performers.

Led by Jackie Scott and joined by professional artists, these workshops combine real stories, interactive activities and meaningful conversation to help young people believe in who they are.

Through story, connection and the power of the performing arts, students are encouraged to find their voice, back themselves and believe in who they are.

RISE Confidence Workshops help students understand that confidence is not something you are born with — it is something you build.

Tailored for every age and stage

Primary students

Workshops focus on confidence, kindness, inclusion, self-expression and feeling proud of who they are.

Middle years

Students explore friendship, comparison, courage, mistakes, belonging and the confidence to be themselves.

Senior students

Workshops support identity, purpose, pressure, leadership, resilience and the confidence to step into the next stage of life.

Every workshop is shaped to suit the students in the room.

What makes this experience different

We bring industry professionals into schools because young people are inspired by people who have lived the journey.

They listen differently when someone standing in front of them has performed on major stages, faced rejection, worked through fear and continued to rise.

But the power of the workshop is not in celebrity or performance.

It is in connection.

Students see that confidence is not something some people are simply born with.

It is something that is built through courage, practice, mistakes, support and self-belief.

RISE comes from the real professional performing arts world. Our artists have worked across major productions such as SIX the Musical, The Lion King, Hamilton, Tina - The Tina Turner Musical, Australian and international theatre, television, Disney productions, Netflix projects, live concerts and commercial performance.

These are not distant performers students only see on stage or screen.

They are in the room.

Sharing their stories - Answering questions.

Helping young people understand what confidence, resilience and self-belief look like in real life.

The impact

Students leave RISE Confidence Workshops feeling:

• more confident
• more connected
• more inspired
• more willing to try
• more accepting of themselves
• more aware of their choices and impact on others

Schools report that students are highly engaged, emotionally connected and continue reflecting on the workshop long after the session ends.
